06.11 Tallinn again

Novembris sai jälle Tallinnas käidud. Kuna ma külastasin põhimõtteliselt samu kohti mida alati, ei hakka ma üle kirjutama mis kohad on, vaid lisan pildid mida ma tegin.

In November I went to Tallinn again. As I visited a lot of places I have visited before I'm not going to explain everything, I'll just add pictures I took.

17.10 Ajaloolaste sügisreis/ historians autumn trip

17.10 sõitsid kõik ajaloolased varajasel hommikul Järvamaale, kus tehti ühine reis kultuurikohtadesse ning tutvuti üksteisega. Esimeseks peatuseks oli Puurmani mõis. Mõis oli kunagine rüütlimõis, kus tänapäeval tegutseb kool.

On 17.10 all historians got to the bus and we all went to Järva county where we took a trip to see cultural places and get to know each other better. First stop was Puurmani manor. The manor was former knight manor where nowadays operates a school.

 

 

 Teine peatus oli Põltsamaa loss, kus tutvusime linnuse ajalooga ning nautisime vaadet. Põltsamaal tegime ka poepeatuse.

Second stop was Põltsamaa castle where we learned about the history and enjoyed the view. In Põltsamaa we also had a little grocery store stop.

Kolmas peatus oli Kütimäe kalmistu. Third stop was Kütimäe cemetery. 

Neljas peatus oli Päinurme koduloomuuseum, mille asutajaks on kunagine ajaloo üliõpilane. Tema käest kuulsime jutte tema ülikooli päevilt ning tutvusime muuseumiga.

Fourth stop was Päinurme local history museum which was founded by a former histroy student. We heard stories from his university days and we learned about the museum.

Viies peatus oli Koeru kirik. Kirik on gooti stiilis, ehitatud 13.-18. sajandil. Kirik on arhitektuurimälestis. Keskajal oli Koeru kirik palverändurite peatuspaik.

Fifth stop was Koeru church. The church is in Gothic style and it was built between 13. and 18. century. The church is architectural monument. In the Middle Ages Koeru church was the staging point for pilgrims.

Pärast seda käisime paaris kohas veel ning õhtust söömas Imavere kõrtsis. Reis oli väga huvitav, kuna ma polnud kunagi enne Järvamaal käinudki ning sain palju uut informatsiooni ajaloo kohta.

After that we went to couple of places more and then we had dinner at Imavere tavern. The trip was very interesting, I had never been to Järva county and I found out a lot of new information about history.
